Eton House is a beautiful expression of what Nest does best. Thoughtful, measured changes that allow a home to feel inherently like our clients, while also enriching the way they live within it.

Conceived as a considered progression, a series of subtle updates come together to create spaces that feel contemporary, yet still deeply personal to its owners.

The kitchen was reworked as an elegant, monochrome space, anchored by a hidden walk-in pantry that keeps everyday life neatly out of sight. In turn, the restrained palette creates a calm backdrop, one that allows personality, objects, and moments of daily life to sit comfortably within it. At the same time, subtle detailing within the joinery brings a level of refinement, without ever feeling overworked.

From here, this language carries through to the BBQ joinery, extending the same tonal layers beyond the kitchen. As a result, a natural connection between spaces emerges. Allowing the home to read as one, rather than a series of separate spaces.

Throughout the home, sanded floorboards run underfoot. This  softens the contrast of the palette and reintroduces a sense of warmth and tactility. In addition, their natural grain provides a gentle counterpoint to the more structured elements.

Similarly, in the ensuite, we took a restrained approach. Here, we selected materials and fixtures for their simplicity and cohesion, creating a space that feels calm and resolved.

Finally, at the end of the hallway, we increased the door heights to introduce a greater sense of scale and openness. Steel-framed doors sit within this opening. Not only creating a subtle dialogue between old and new, but also drawing light deeper into the home and framing the spaces beyond.

Ultimately, each selection was made by our team in collaboration with our client.  Creating spaces that feel considered, personal, and a pleasure to live in, resulting in a home that feels distinctly their own.
