Rosetta House
Seamless living for a growing family.
At Rosetta House, a young family wanted to improve how they live and use their home. We reconfigured and extended their living areas to create a more functional, open-plan layout.
We removed the existing lean-to to create a seamless transition from the original character home into the new spaces.
The design at Rosetta House focused on maximising natural light. North-facing openings, high-level windows, and a central courtyard with glass sliding doors flood the home with light. The courtyard also connects directly to the carport, making day-to-day access easy for the family.
The addition extends toward the east, opening up to the expansive backyard and established garden with strong visual flow.
A new ensuite links to the main bedroom, hidden behind a full-height robe joinery door for a streamlined finish.
