Mile End House represents a single-storey internal renovation, meticulously designed and executed to fulfill the owner’s vision of a contemporary and highly functional space encompassing the kitchen, dining, laundry, and bathroom.
Fostering a strong bond of trust between client and builder, we diligently adhered to the young couple’s predetermined budget and navigated the spatial constraints of the existing structure. Through innovative design solutions – such as the centrepiece tiled terrazzo benchtop – and efficient building techniques, we surpassed the client’s expectations. Latent conditions onsite were leveraged by Nest to lift the existing ceiling height and transform the external form. As a result, Mile End House achieved a superior outcome while remaining within budgetary confines.
