GABLE HOUSE
Defined by its distinctive gable form and a renewed sense of warmth, this thoughtfully reimagined residence balances familiarity with transformation. Retaining and celebrating the home’s original architectural character, the project focused on reconfiguring and expanding the interior to better support contemporary family living.
Spaces were carefully reshaped to improve connection, functionality and flow, creating a home that feels generous and deeply considered. A refined material palette introduces warmth and texture throughout, while natural stone, timber ceilings and crafted joinery bring richness and continuity to the interiors.
Set within a private hammerhead allotment, layered landscaping softens the site’s boundaries and creates a strong connection between home and garden. Carefully framed openings draw natural light deep into the floorplan and establish a constant dialogue between the interior and its surrounding landscape.
